Lee will be speaking at the 60+ center

Lee Ritzman, of Yaquina Toastmasters, will be at the Newport 60+ Activity Center on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., to educate people on the work of Toastmasters. From its beginning in 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, Calif., Toastmasters International has grown to become a world leader in communication and leadership development. Most Toastmasters meetings are comprised of 10-20 people who meet weekly to allow participants to practice and learn speaking skills and become more confident and comfortable in addressing an audience.
