Pathways Program Overview

Toastmasters International is rolling out the Pathways Program as you are reading this. The first district, 57, has already starting using this program. Newport Toastmasters is a part of region two, which will be the second region to receive this program.

What is this program?
It is personalized by an assessment that will direct you to which path Toastmasters believes is best for you.

What is new?
They have included projects such as podcasting, ethical leadership and blogging. It involves videos, quizzes and new feedback options. The projects have changed as well. Each path has both required and elective projects. The path recognition is achieved when a member completes 14 projects across all 5 levels of the path. According to Toastmasters International, a combination of 10 required projects and 4 elective projects are chosen from a comprehensive list covering a variety of subjects. Each of the projects includes one speech, and some include more. Even though members are required to complete 4 elective projects, obviously they have the option to complete as many as they would like.

How many paths are there?

  1. Motivational Strategies
  2. Presentation Mastery
  3. Leadership Development
  4. Innovative Planning
  5. Visionary Communication
  6. Strategic Relationships
  7. Dynamic Leadership
  8. Persuasive Influence
  9. Effective Coaching
  10. Team Collaboration
